What is LED light therapy?
LED light therapy is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light. NASA originally developed it for plant growth experiments on shuttle missions and later found it to have promise for wound-healing. Today, LED light therapy is widely used by aestheticians to help regenerate skin from signs of aging, as well as for acne – with each color having its own benefit. Unlike other types of light therapy, LED lights do not contain ultraviolet rays, and therefore are safe for regular use. When used over time, the therapy can improve your skin.
Just like plants use chlorophyll to turn sunlight into energy, humans use different wavelength colors to cause natural reactions within the skin. Each color penetrates the skin at various depths, creating a different effect. What are T-SonicTM pulsations?
T-Sonic™ pulsations are the signature massage technology featured in every FOREO skincare device. The ‘T’ in T-Sonic™ stands for transdermal – so named because the gentle pulsations travel through the outer layers of the skin. They channel a low frequency massage to help relax facial and neck muscle tension points, and improve blood flow. They also help to temporarily dilate pores, so that the active ingredients in your skincare can actually penetrate through the stratum corneum (the outer layer of skin) without clogging the pores.

How to Use
- Clean and dry your face and neck. For optimal results, we recommend using a FOREO LUNA™ Facial Cleansing Massager.
- Apply FOREO ESPADA™ BHA+PHA Blemish Solution to each spot you wish to treat, if desired.
- Press the universal button to turn on ESPADA™ 2. Aim it so the spot you wish to treat is in the center of the precise targeting light & hold on skin for 30 secs. You can treat the same spot up to 4 times in one treatment.
